This Privacy Policy explains how Syntropic Digital Inc. 2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
- To authenticate you and secure your account.
- To send service-related communications, including notifications you enable.
- To process subscriptions and payments.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
3. Consent
We collect, use, and disclose your personal information with your knowledge and consent, except where otherwise permitted or required by law. By creating an account and providing information, you consent to the practices described in this policy. You may withdraw your consent at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice, by contacting us — though doing so may limit your ability to use the Service.
4. Electronic Communications
Transactional messages (such as verification codes, password resets, and service notices) are sent to operate your account. We will only send you promotional or marketing electronic messages with your consent, in accordance with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL), and every such message will include a way to unsubscribe.
5. Storage & Third-Party Services
We use trusted third-party providers to operate the Service, which may include cloud object storage for media, email delivery providers, push-notification services, and payment processors (such as the Google Play or Apple App Store billing systems). These providers process data only as needed to perform their services and are subject to their own privacy practices.
6. Cookies & Local Storage
We use cookies and/or browser local storage to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. These are necessary for the Service to function and are not used for third-party advertising.
7. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data; we will delete it within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.
8. Your Rights
Under PIPEDA you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, request corrections, and ask how it is used and disclosed. You may also request export or deletion of your data. To exercise these rights, contact our Privacy Officer at [email protected]. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may file a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (OPC).
9. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and consent for a child's information must be given by a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
10. Security & Breach Notification
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a breach of security safeguards that creates a real risk of significant harm to you, we will notify you and report to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada as required by PIPEDA, and we will keep records of such breaches.
11. International Transfers
Your information may be processed and stored outside of Canada, including by our service providers. Where this occurs, your information may be subject to the laws of those jurisdictions, and we take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice through the Service or by other reasonable means. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
